An app that needs a strong signal at every stop is an app agents will stop using. They go back to the notebook, and the owner goes back to waiting for the evening phone call. The record is only as good as the moment it was captured.

How offline capture works for the agent
The agent opens the line, sees today’s unpaid, missed and paid accounts and records cash or UPI as usual. If the connection drops, they keep working. When the phone is back online, the recorded work is synced to the company’s records.

What owners see
Once entries sync, they appear in the line’s collections, the borrower’s payment history and the day’s closing tally. Owners and managers can review activity on mobile or web, and the day is closed only after the combined cash and bank/UPI total is checked.
Good habits for offline days
Offline capture works best with a few simple habits. Ask agents to open the app and let it sync before leaving for the route and again before handing over cash. Keep the phone charged, and make sure each agent uses their own login so entries are attributed correctly.

Offline entries and the closing tally
An offline day should still end with a clean close. Once every agent has synced, the expected cash plus bank/UPI total reflects all recorded collections. You count notes, enter the bank balance and compare. If an agent has not synced yet, wait for their entries before approving the day, so nothing recorded in the field is left out of the tally.

Can agents record payments with no internet at all?
Yes. Collections can be captured offline and are synced later when the device is back online.
When does the owner see offline collections?
After the agent’s device syncs. Ask agents to sync before closing the day so the tally includes every entry.
Does offline mode work for UPI payments too?
Yes. Agents can record a UPI payment the same way as cash. The record syncs when the phone reconnects.
