Weekly collection
Weekly collection app built around the collection day
Weekly lines give borrowers more breathing room and give you fewer visits, but a missed week is harder to recover. Vasool Raja helps you plan each collection day and follow up the gaps before the next one arrives.
How weekly lines are different
In a weekly line, the whole week’s instalment depends on one visit. If the borrower is not at home or the shop is closed, the next chance may be seven days away. That makes follow-up between collection days as important as the collection day itself.
Many owners run several weekly lines, each tied to a weekday or an area. Vasool Raja lets each line keep its own business days, holidays and service areas, so a Monday line and a Thursday line do not get mixed up.
Working the collection day
When the line opens, agents see unpaid, missed and paid accounts for that day and record cash or UPI against each loan. If coverage is poor in a market or village, entries can be captured offline and synced once the phone is back online.
Following up missed weeks
The real work in a weekly line often happens between visits. Payment reminders and WhatsApp follow-up help agents reach borrowers before the next collection day, and every payment recorded later is still tied to the correct loan.
- Missed accounts stay visible until they are paid or handled
- Overdue drilldowns show how many weeks a loan is behind
- Penalty grace sessions can be set to suit a weekly rhythm
Reviewing weekly lines as an owner
Portfolio health groups loans into running, late, bad and completed, which is especially useful when one weekly line starts slipping. You can compare lines, look at profitability including interest, expenses, discounts and penalties, and download PDF reports to discuss with partners.
Plans that fit a weekly business
The Basic plan includes up to 6 lines and 2 users, and Pro includes up to 22 lines and 6 users, so you can grow from a few weekly lines to a larger book. Every plan starts with a 60-day free trial. Vasool Raja is a record-keeping tool and does not provide loans or financial services.
A simple weekly routine for owners
Many owners find a short routine works best. On the collection day, check the paid count against the target before agents return. The next morning, open the missed list and agree who will follow up with each borrower. Before the following collection day, look at the overdue drilldown for loans that are two or more weeks behind and decide what to do with them, calmly and with the statement in hand.
Common questions
Can I run weekly and daily lines together?
Yes. Weekly lines can sit alongside daily, monthly and monthly-interest lines in the same company, each with its own schedule settings.
How do I remind borrowers before the next collection day?
The app includes payment reminders and WhatsApp follow-up, so agents can contact borrowers who missed a week.
Can a weekly line have its own holidays?
Yes. Holidays are set per line, as single dates or date ranges, and go through approval before the schedule is recalculated.
How many weekly lines can I run on a plan?
Basic allows up to 6 lines and Pro up to 22 lines across line types, and Premium has unlimited lines. The pricing page shows the full limits.
